INSTRUCTIONS
GAME OF THE STATES is fun and educational, the tool helps you to leam the location of each State, its capital city, important industries, and products.
OBJECT: Drive around India in your truck and buy products in one State and sell them in another. The player with the most money at the end of the game is the winner.
CONTENTS: 29 State Cards. 6 Union Temitores Cards 10 Chance Cards, 4 Delivery Trucks Red, Blue, Green & Yellow), 16 Product Discs for each of Red, Blue, Green & Yellow), Play Money (RS. 5,000 & Rs. 1,000), 20 Cheques (f Play money runs out, 2 Spinner Dial (on the build-up, 2 Rows, and 2 Pegs.
1 Gameboard.
ASSEMBLY: Carefully, assemble the spinner and the person to the Spinner Dials provided on the Build-up). Place the pegs in such a way that it passes the holes in both the Travel Spinner dial and the Money Spinner dial and locks on to the Spinner arrow. SETUP
Pick which colored truck you want to be. Take the 3 matching Product Discs of the same Colour and place them in front of you through which the player will act as the Broker/Banker. This person will be in charge of handling all of the money and buying the products that will be delivered from State to State (more on that later) Be sure to keep the Broker/Banker money separate from each player's money 3. The Broker/Banker distributes a total of Rs.50,000 in play money to each player, in the following denominations: 8 nos of Rs. 5,000 and 10 nos of Rs.1,000. Please Note: the play money runs out during the game, the Banker/Broker can use the Cheques provided with the game. Use a pencil to write the amount on the

4 Shuffle the State cards and Chance cards separately and place them on the gameboard, within easy reach of all players
AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH GAME
1. Beginning with the youngest player, draw 3 State cards and place one of your Product Discs on each of the corresponding States on the gameboard by chance you pick any Union Territories and, please place them back and pick a Suite card. Place these State cards to the side of the gameboard and out of play. You will
refer to these cards later in the game when you are choosing which product to purchase. 2. Next, draw another State card and place your colored truck on the corresponding state. This becomes your truck's starting point. Return this card to the bottom of the deck
GAMEPLAY: The youngest player starts the game.
ON YOUR TURN: AL the beginning of your tum, select which opponent's State you want to move towards This becomes your Product Purchase State. Then spin the Travel dial and move your truck towards your Produced Purchase State the corresponding number of spaces shown on the Travel dial
You may move in any direction, even diagonally, as long as the State you are moving to touches the State you are moving from. • Trucks may move onto a State event there's another player's truck or Product Disc on that space.
Each State counts as a separate space. Suppose you spin the Travel dal and the arrow points at "2", however, you are able to reach your Product Purchase/Delivery State within one move only. then move your truck space and you to over. You cannot move the remaining
space. Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep are connected by a dotted line from Tamil Nadu and Kerala respectively. To go to Andaman & Nicobar lands the only way is from Tamil Nadu, Similarly, to go to Lakshadweep, the only way from Kerala
BUYING PRODUCT DISCS: When you reach a State with another player's Product Dice, 's time to get down to business.
1 Look at the pictures posted on your Provided Purchase State on the gameboard, Den return to that State's card which was placed to the side of the gameboard at Best Art of the game) Each card Ists all the products for sale in that particular State. 2. Decide which product you want to buy from your opponent you may choose only one per tum) then spin the Money Dial. The amount of points at is 4. the seller does not feel that the price is acceptable, he or she may ask you to spin again. Whatever amount you spin on the second try is what you MUST pay for the
suggested selling price for the item
3. The seller levels that price is acceptable, you pay that amount for the product. Congratulations, you own it.
Example: You decide to buy Dairy products from your opponent YoU spin the Money Dial and the now points to Rs.3,000. Your opponent thinks Rs.3,000 isnt an acceptable sale price for the Dairy products, so he/she tells you to spin again. You spin Rs 2.000 on the second. The opponent must accept the second pair of Rs2.000 for the dairy product that is lower than the first sale price. 5. not you have purchased a product, place the corresponding Product Disc in your truck.
